MEET JASON PATCHETT

Jason Patchett is an experienced Nevada licensed attorney who has been practicing law since 2015. A graduate of the Sandra Day O’Conner College of Law at Arizona State University and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Jason brings a seasoned legal perspective to public service. His background includes several years working in the Clark County District Attorney's office, giving him an intimate, non-newcomer understanding of the challenges facing our community and our justice system.

His commitment to protecting Nevada families was forged through profound personal adversity after his family lost their son, Rex, to a reckless driver outside a school in 2022. This heartbreaking tragedy provided the impetus for action, leading Jason and his family to successfully champion Rex's Law—a landmark piece of legislation that significantly increases penalties for reckless driving in school and pedestrian safety zones.

Jason’s proven ability to navigate the complex legislative process and deliver concrete results is a testament to the strength and unbreakable fighting spirit of his family. He lives in the community with his wife and children, and in his free time enjoys playing pickleball.
